The Oberlanders
The Zorconians placed observers on distant planets. On the medieval world Sol #3, their observer was Marie Gottmothercus, a junior planetary anthropologist from Zorcon University. Marie was on her first assignment. Sometimes she ignored the rules and used her wand to help the locals. In Oberland Kingdom she became known as the Fairy Godmother.
The Zorconians thought that they could do whatever they wanted with Sol #3. They never considered that the Elders might have their own plans, or what could happen when Zorcon technology met Old Elder Magic.

The Sendroids
When Zorcon was on the verge of destruction by its foolish inhabitants. Cinderwan had mercy. She wanted to save them by moving their planet to a new universe. The Guardians of the Multiverse had watched the creation of countless universes, but Cinderwan’s plan was not normal. Bringing along a planet of troublesome people would be an experiment.
Cinderwan would need to train Elders to help her oversee things. The Zorconians would not make good Elders. Cinderwan decided to train androids to become the new Elders. The androids wanted to know what was in it for them.
