The Oberlanders
The Zorconians had observers on distant planets. On the medieval world Sol #3, their observer was Marie Gottmothercus, a junior planetary anthropologist from Zorcon University. Marie was on her first assignment. Sometimes she ignored the rules and used her wand to help the locals. In Oberland Kingdom she became known as the Fairy Godmother.
The Zorconians thought that they could do whatever they wanted with Sol #3. They never considered that the Elders might have their own plans, or what could happen when Zorcon technology met Old Elder Magic.

The Sendroids
The Zorconians had been careless. They tapped their sun’s core to get more energy. It did not go well. Zorcon was on the verge of destruction. To give them a fresh start Cinderwan planned to move their planet to a new universe. But first she would need to create a universe.
The Guardians of the Multiverse had overseen the creation of countless universes. Taking along a planet was new and the Zorconians had bad habits. It would not be easy.
Cinderwan would need Elders to manage things. Zorconians would not make good Elders. Cinderwan’s plan was to train sendroids as Elders. The sendroids asked what was in it for them.
